Family Visit

We visited Kim, John, Jack, and Granny on Sunday night.

Here are some new shots of us and the baby. As we were driving along this weekend , I looked over and Katie had spit out her pacifier and was just quietly sitting there looking really funny, so i had to take a picture.

SNOW!!!

Baby Katie's first snow storm!

It's been a fairly uneventful past few days. Baby Katie is adjusting well. We are able to sleep 2-3 hours at a time during the night. Katie has yet to sleep the entire 5 hours between feedings that her pediatrician said she is allowed.

Katie did expirence her first snow storm this past weekend. She didn't seem to like all the snow landing on her while mommy took the picture. Afterwards she and daddy took a short nap.

Sleepy Baby

Baby Katie takes a nap on Mommy. She likes to sleep, eat and poop, not neccesarily in that order. I am looking forward to her becoming more interactive. But even just sleeping, she is the cutest thing, I could just stare at her forever.

Superbowl Sunday

Katie took her first trip over to grandma and grandpa Shearer's on Sunday to watch the Superbowl.


Daddy and Katie rooted hard for the Seahawks.  

Needless to say, Katie and daddy were disappointed with the outcome of the game.

My First Walk

It was so nice on Friday, we took Baby Katie on her first walk around the neighborhood! She loved it!



You can see she was wide awake when we left...



When we got back home, she was totally out of it! I especially enjoyed getting out of the house. I can't believe it's been a week since she was born. I guess it's easy to loose track of time when all you are concerned with is feeding the baby every two or three hours around the clock. I'm looking forward to more nice days to take the baby outside.

My Little Pea

Here's my little Pea. I just took this picture a few minutes ago of the baby sleeping in her vibrating chair. She had her first visit to the doctor - she's going to the same pediatrician her daddy did! I am happy to report that she passed inspection. Steve and I have keep her alive and well for 4 days on our own!
